At 14:20 on November 16, 2022 (Beijing time), China successfully launched five satellites, including Jilin I High Score 03D08 and High Score 03D51~54, with the Ceres I Remote IV carrier rocket at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit and the launch mission was a complete success.
"JL1" high resolution 03D08 satellite and high resolution 03D51~54 satellite are small and light remote sensing satellites independently developed and mass produced by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. The breadth of this series of satellites is more than 17km, which can provide users with image products with a resolution better than 0.75 m, featuring low cost, low power consumption, low weight and high indicators.
After the five "JL1" satellites launched this time are put into orbit, they will form a network with 70 "JL1" satellites in orbit. So far, the number of "JL1" satellites in orbit has increased to 72. They can visit any place in the world 23 to 25 times a day, providing more abundant remote sensing data and product services for agriculture, forestry, oceans, resources, environmental protection, urban construction, scientific experiments and other fields.
This mission is the 22nd launch of the "JL1" satellite project.
